TOCA is dedicated to creating a healthy, sustainable and culturally vital community on the Tohono O'odham Nation in Southern Arizona.
 
TOCA is the home of: The Desert Rain Cafe' (now closed), The Desert Rain Gallery, _Native Foodways Magazine_, Project Oidag, the Tohono O'odham Basketweavers Organization (TOBO), The New Generation of O'odham Farms, and Young O'odham United Through Health (Y.O.U.T.H.), and Tohono Trading Co. dry goods.

TOCA started in 1995 as a backyard community garden and after school youth arts program on Topawa Road in Sells, AZ. In 1996, Tristan Reader and Terrol Dew Johnson moved into a small adobe building in Sells and established TOCA as a 501(c)(3). In 2008, TOCA moved to the Tohono Plaza in Sells and opened Desert Rain Cafe'.
