My Gal Sal Bakery and Cake Pops
In 2008, My Gal, Sal (Salomae, known as Sal), started selling Cake Pops at local farmer’s markets under the state’s Home Baked and Confectionery Goods program. She was the only baker selling healthy and special diet (gluten free, dairy free and sugar free) cake pops. Customers then requested cakes and cupcakes and soon her products were carried in tea and coffee shops.
Orders over the years became so big (including a 6,000- cake pop order from a local well-known fast food chain restaurant for their company picnic) that she had to rent a local bakery to fill the order and then it became apparent that it was time to open a brick and mortar store.
In November 2017, My Gal, Sal Bakery and Catering opened its store.
In 2008, My Gal, Sal Bakery was voted BEST BAKERY in Phoenix and also “Top Gluten Free Friendly Restaurant” in Arizona.
Today, My Gal, Sal Bakery and Cafe serves BREAKFAST, LUNCH and DESSERT and also does food catering.
Sal’s mission is simple..................................EVERYONE needs to be able to have dessert and desserts need to taste like regular desserts - not like cardboard and if you eat a special diet dessert it needs to taste like a regular dessert.
The bakery is a ONE STOP BAKERY shop. Customers can purchase desserts for everyone on their list.
They bake regular, Gluten Free, Vegan, Gluten Free Vegan, Sugar Free, Naturally Sweetened Desserts, Keto, Paleo, Gluten Free and Sugar Free and any combination diet desserts.
My Gal, Sal Bakery is the only Bakery in Phoenix where you can tell them your allergies and they will custom bake a dessert for you.
